NLC SUMMER TEAM BUILDING 2012 AT LEONOR BEACH RESORT, LEMERY BANTAGAS

Since summer is customarily related to hot and dry weather, people are inclined to spend the long days of summer in cooler locations. It is the perfect time for outdoor activities thus, the perfect time to have a team building.

As a yearly tradition the Officers, Enlisted Personnel and Civilian Employees of Naval Logistics Center packed their bags and stayed overnight at Leonor Beach Resort situated at Lemery, Batangas last 19-20 of May 2012.  This seaside location is perfect for outdoor activities and will help the NLC Team to relax and work together with each other and boost team moral and spirits.

The NLC personnel were given a warm reception by the resort's staff and are accommodated in air-conditioned cottages. They are also welcome to avail the resort's facilities such as the swimming pool, volleyball/basketball courts and Videoke for entertainment. After a delectable dinner "boodle fight" way the team then proceeded to the beach area to commence the team building activities. Six teams were assembled: YELLOW, GREEN, ORANGE, MAROON, BLUE and VIOLET. The GREEN Team emerged as the 1st Place winner followed by ORANGE Team and VIOLET Team respectively.

The next day the personnel were given their alone time to discover and see the sights of the area. Some went boating to visit nearby islands with white sandy shorelines. Several went to snorkel and witness the splendor of Lemery's underwater scenery. More than a few opted to stay at the resort to relax and stay at the comforts of their cottages. After a scrumptious seafood lunch everyone prepared for the trip back home.

The opportunity to join an activity such as this should always be grabbed especially for people who are living a hurried and busy city life. Apart from the fun it is also a great chance to improve and build camaraderie amongst co-workers. Truly a wonderful experience and a motivation to look forward to next year's team building activities.
